S2 is a new type of sulfide used in friction materials developed by our company. The main component includes a variety of sulfide and heat-resistant wear-resistant functional materials. It does not contain heavy metals such as copper, antimony, lead, cadmium, etc. It is a new kind of safe and environmental-friendly material. S2 is gray-black powder with good frictional stability and heat resistance. It can reduce the decomposition rate of organic binders during the high temperature period, and it plays the role of high-temperature inorganic binder and lubricating friction modifier. It shows excellent thermal decay resistance performance in non-copper and non-antimony formula. The bench tests have proved that it has friction properties comparable to that of antimony sulfide.
